Business ChallengeThe GM Sponsored Auctions website is a resource for GM dealers across the country to access auction information and locations. This site has been a great tool for GM, and, although the site was functioning properly, GM noticed a critical area where improvements could be made. The Detroit based automaker was having difficulty editing and updating content and was unable to do so in a timely manner. GM recognized this need and approached their agency partner, Mullen, who then contacted us at Cascade.
Solution
Cascade placed the GM Sponsored Auctions site on the intuitive Evergreen CMS platform which would allow GM and Mullen appointed site administrators to quickly make changes to the entire site in real time and without the need for extensive HTML training. Following the site transfer, site admins were able to:
- Add News articles discussing details of Auctions, events and corporate happenings
- Create Calendar listings for upcoming Auctions
- Add Auction Locations to their interactive Google Map
- Update site content and imagery and add or remove content pages when necessary
